Die Walisische Sopranistin Rhian Lois studierte am Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama und war Mitglied des National Opera Studios der English National Opera. Zu ihren jüngsten Engagements zählen u.a. Janine/Ofwarren (»The Handmaid's Tale«) an der English National Opera, Angelica in Elena Langers »Figaro Get’s a Divorce« am Theater Magdeburg und dem Grand Théâtre de Genève, Jerusha (»The Intelligence Park - Royal Opera House«)  am Linbury Theatre, Max (»Where The Wild Things Are«) am Alexandra Palace London und am Mariinsky Theatre, Governess (»The Turn of the Screw«) mit Opera Glassworks unter der Leitung von John Wilson, Gretel (»Hänsel und Gretel) sowie Musetta (»La bohème«) an der Scottish Opera, Oriana (»Amadigi«) an der Garsington Opera, Nanetta (»Falstaff«) beim Grange Festival, Zerlina (»Don Giovanni«) an der Santa Fe Opera und Adele (»Die Fledermaus«) an der Welsh National Opera. An der Semperoper Dresden wird sie erstmals als Maid (»Powder Her Face«) gastieren. (Stand: 2023)
