Making his house debut, Italian conductor Evelino Pidò, an expert in the historically-informed performance of bel canto opera, will ascend the Staatskapelle podium to interpret Vincenzo Bellini’s brilliant score, which features large-scale choruses and thrilling coloratura passages.
