Group Service

For groups, corporate customers and tour operators of 10 persons or more, the following sales conditions apply for performances at the Semperoper Dresden (these terms and conditions do not apply to third-party events and guest performances).

Terms for early bookings
For bookings made at least 5 months before the performance, a 10% deposit will be charged, the amount is due 4 months before the performance and will be credited to the final invoice. You will receive the final invoice 3 months before the performance with a payment deadline of 4 weeks. The deposit of 10 per cent of the ticket price is not an additional charge. The deposit will be deducted accordingly from the final invoice.

General terms of conditions
Full payment is due less than 5 months before the performance. The payment period is based on the respective performance date and is a maximum of 8 weeks. An option extension beyond the due date stated on the invoice is not possible.
Please note that the reserved tickets will automatically go back on sale after the first option period has expired without your confirmation if no payment has yet been made.

Ticket returns 
There is no charge on reductions or cancellations of group bookings prior to deposit payment. Please inform us in writing of any such changes. A reduction in the number of reserved tickets made between the deposit payment and final payment date shall entail a cancellation fee of two euros per ticket. This fee will be deducted from the deposit.

Commission
The Semperoper Dresden may take back purchased tickets on consignment without any legal obligation. In particular, the Semperoper Dresden is not obliged to offer such tickers for prioritized sale. Any income from sold tickets will be paid after the event. The consignment fee amounts to 10 percent of the ticket price (at least 6 Euro per ticket). Any unsold tickets will be returned to you by mail.

Photos are allowed to be used free of charge only including copyright notice and in context of media coverage about the Semperoper Dresden. Tour operators, corporate and group customers are also permitted to use photos free of charge in connection with a ticket booking via the Semperoper's group service for the sole purpose of advertising the performances. Please send your request for image material to gruppen@semperoper.de, stating your customer number and order number.  For all other usage requests, please contact the press office at presse@semperoper.de.
