Severely disabled people with a disability of at least 80 percent receive a discount of approx. 50 percent on regular tickets upon presentation of their severely handicapped pass. Accompanying persons indicated in the pass receive the same discount.
Reduced prices are available for tickets of 12 euros and more for seating categories 1 to 5. In addition, discounted tickets are offered in the price categories ZU2 to ZU7. Discounts are only valid with respective ID and are non-transferable. Discounts cannot be claimed on already purchased tickets. Discounts for disability are not available for tickets purchased online.
Children up to the age of 16 receive a 50 percent discount. Reduced prices are available for tickets of 12 euros and more, for seating categories 1 to 5. Premieres, symphony concerts, guest performances, third party and special events as well as exclusive events are excluded.

4 performances for a total of 25 Euro: Three different productions can be selected from various performances of our »Opera & Ballet« programme as well as one production from »Extras« (subject to ticket availability). This increases the flexibility of your individual package.
A package can be purchased from the Visitor Service of the Semperoper Dresden upon presentation of a school or student ID card. Visit us in person and make your choice! Please note that you can only book tickets for other pupils and students if you provide us with a copy of their ID cards.

Schoolchildren and students (with a valid ID) can purchase tickets from the evening box office 30 minutes before each performance (minimum ticket price of 12 Euros for seating categories 1 to 5, cash payment desired). Guest performances, third party and special events as well as exclusive events are excluded from this offer. Tickets are subject to availability.
A limited number of tickets are available for schoolchildren and students (valid ID required) for purchase from the 15th of the month preceding the desired performance, at a price of 10 euros. Symphony concerts, premieres, New Year Eve's concerts, guest performances, third party and special events as well as exclusive events are excluded. In addition, reduced tickets can be purchased for performances at Semper Zwei. You are required to present relevant ID at the entrance.
During the semester you can visit our ticket stand every Tuesday from 10.30 am to 2 pm in the Zeltschlösschen Mensa (refectory) of the TU Dresden. There you can buy student tickets for selected performances at a price of 10 euros. You need to show a valid student ID to make a purchase. The day before the university ticket sale, the exact opening times and location of our stand (which may vary) as well as the specific performances will be announced via Facebook and Instagram.

An adult accompanied by one child will receive a discount of up to 50% on the evening box office price (minimum ticket price of 12 Euro for categories 1-5). Children only pay 5 Euro. Especially seniors have the chance to visit performances to a good price (midday, afternoon). Performances with tickets priced 6 Euro and above (category B) can be visited.
Additionally, seniors also have the option to buy a cost-effective senior subscription. This subscription includes three performances. You enjoy a price advantage of 50 percent discount against the normal price.
The following special prices are offered exclusively at the box office in the Schinkelwache for the following performances in seating categories 1 to 3. Up to four tickets can be booked per person. Discounts are not offered on previously purchased tickets.

A special ticket offer for all local residents! The Semperoper Dresden reserves a number of tickets for last-minute customers who wish to attend popular performances. On the first Saturday of the month, you have the unique opportunity to purchase remaining tickets for the following month’s performances exclusively from the daytime box office in the Schinkelwache.
Due to the current situation, the Dresden Special will be suspended until the end of the 2020/21 season.
For the last 50 years the International Theatre Institute, which includes members from around 90 countries, has celebrated World Theatre Day under the patronage of Unesco on 27 March. The Semperoper Dresden has marked this special event with a great ticket deal: on this day all seats are sold at a price of 16 euros (individual bookings restricted to eight tickets).
Tickets can be purchased only at the daytime box office in the Schinkelwache upon 30 January 2021.
World Theatre Day 2020
Your personal opera guide! At these introductory talks, the dramaturges of the Semperoper Dresden divulge interesting facts about the respective opera or ballet, explain the background to the production, give insights into the score and much, much more. The talks, which are free of charge for all ticket holders, are held before performances of new productions as well as before selected returning works. They begin 45 minutes before curtain-up in the cellar of the opera house (Semper Zwei: 25 minutes before the performance). We look forward to seeing you!

In cooperation with Opernclub e.V. and Ballettfreunde Semperoper e.V., we are offering moderated after-show discussions, in which audience members can talk about, debate and question what they have seen with our artistic team. These after-show discussions will be held either in the opera cellar or in Semper Zwei following a selected performance of (almost) every new opera or ballet production. Audience members can attend free of charge.
Due to the subject matter of »4.48 Psychosis«, there will be a discussion and the chance to exchange views after each performance of this work in Semper Zwei.
