Dresden, 5 January 2024. The new three-part ballet evening at the Semperoper will celebrate its premiere on Sunday, 2 June 2024, under the revised title »Classics by Balanchine / Peck / Tharp«.
The company of Semperoper Ballett will dance the choreographies »Serenade« by George Balanchine, »In the Upper Room« by Twyla Tharp and – replacing the originally planned »Plot Point« by Crystal Pike – Justin Peck’s »Rodeo: Four Dance Episodes«.

The Staatskapelle Dresden will be conducted by Tom Seligman.
Premiere at 7 pm on Sunday, 2 June 2024 in the Semperoper

A 3D seating plan can be viewed on the Semperoper’s online ticket shop to aid your choice of tickets and seats in the auditorium. Tickets can be purchased as well from the Schinkelwache box office on Theaterplatz (T +49 (0)351 4911 705) according the opening hours. Remainig tickets will also be available at the box office of the Semperoper one hour prior to scheduled performance times.
