Ballett
Born in Belgrade in 1974, the dancer Zoran Marković trained at the Lujo Davico National Ballet School as well as at the Princess Grace Academy in Monaco and the John Neumeier Ballet Centre in Hamburg. His first engagement brought Marković to Dresden before he joined Stephan Thoss' company in 1998. Here he danced as a soloist and was assistant to the choreographer. In 2006, he joined the Netherlands Dance Theatre (NDT). He has danced solo roles in choreographies by J. Neumeier, M. Ek, W. Forsythe, C. Pite, J. Lazinni, S. Thoss, T. Willhelm, M. Goecke, F. Magadan, L. Timulak and F. Nappa, among others. In 2013, Zoran Marković became rehearsal director and ballet master in Lucerne. Since 2018, he has been working freelance, teaching ballet and studying Johan Inger's "Peer Gynt" and various works by Stephan Thoss all over the world. As a guest ballet teacher and choreographer, he works with ballet companies all over Europe.
