Based in Germany, he is an independent choreographer/performer and former rehearsal director at Staatsballett Berlin. He started his choreographic career in Spain, where he created several works for the Compañía Nacional de Danza, under the direction of Nacho Duato. Since then he has been working with dance companies and theaters worldwide, such as (among others): New York Choreographic Institute, Juilliard School of New York, Ballett Staatstheater Nuremberg, Gärtnerplatztheater, Scapino Ballet, Teatro Massimo di Palermo. He is the founder and choreographer of the »was bleibt kollektiv | Gentian Doda«, a team of international artists with whom he is consistently collaborating, while currently preparing for a new premiere with the Greek National Ballet (Athens, March 2023). His choreographic work is acclaimed by public and dance critics for its authenticity and it has brought him several international awards (First Choreographic Awards in Copenhagen and Hannover, Scapino Production Prize, etc.)
