Ticket returns for cancelled performances

Dear visitors,

Tickets already purchased for performances cancelled by the Semperoper (due to the Covid-19 pandemic or for scheduling reasons) will be refunded. A ticket return form is available for this purpose.

For all other ticket returns, please contact the Visitor Service by e-mail at bestellung@semperoper.de in good time, at least two working days before the scheduled performance.

Although we will do our best to process your refund as quickly as possible, due to the large number of ticket cancellations it may take us a while to successively deal with all requests. Please refrain from making inquiries, also to ensure that the refund is processed as quickly as possible. In this regard, we kindly ask for your patience.

* Files are downloaded at your own risk. The Semperoper cannot guarantee the success of the download or the functionality of the downloaded files on your computer system. Downloads may only be used in accordance with the intended purpose.

You can choose between a refund in the form of a voucher or a cash refund by bank transfer; alternatively, you can decide to donate the ticket price.

  • Semperoper vouchers are valid for three years and can be redeemed for almost all events of the Semperoper Dresden (apart from for exclusive events, non-subscription events and guest performances).
  • If you would like us to transfer the refund, please give us details of your bank account. The system fee incurred for online bookings will not be refunded.
  • You can also donate the ticket price. This money will benefit the »Semperoper Education on tour« projects of our Semperoper Education department.
