Semperoper Aktiv!
The Semperoper Dresden offers hands-on access to music theatre. All our formats are designed to enable active participation: in some cases, audience members have the chance to slip into a role, in others they are encouraged to “just” watch and listen. Semperoper Aktiv! is aimed at individuals with no experience of musical theatre as well as those who have already dipped their toes into this exciting art, whether as spectators or performers. Our intention is to whet your appetite for more! To this end, we offer a range of events for school classes and their teachers as well as for kids of all ages and young adults.

At our Saisonauftakt event, Semperoper Aktiv! will present the programme for the 2024/25 season to teachers. We not only provide information about suitable pieces for school classes, but also our special educational events in music theatre designed for pupils and teachers.

Semperoper Aktiv! offers numerous educational formats designed to give schoolchildren an insight into the world of music theatre. We are happy to advise you on a collaboration with your school, tailored to your specific needs.
Attending performances with school classes
Planning to attend a performance with your class? We can advise you on suitable repertoire, help you choose the right production, inform you about the content of each work and help prepare your class for the visit. On request, we will send you a folder offering a complete overview of our performances for schools.
We will be happy to come to your school to help prepare your class for their visit.
Prices for school groups
Semperoper: €10 per pupil (subject to availability)
Semper Zwei: from €6 per pupil (depending on price category)
