Mavin Khoo is a dance artist, teacher, choreographer and artist scholar. His dance expertise encompasses classical ballet, contemporary and the Indian classical dance form of Bharata Natyam. 
From 2010 to 2014, Khoo was on the faculty of the Dance Studies department in the School of Performing Arts at the University of Malta. He was then appointed Artistic Director of Zfin Malta Dance Ensemble, the national contemporary dance company in Malta (2014 - 2017). He is the Creative Associate to Akram Khan and has worked with him on major creations like Giselle, Creature and Gigenis. He is a leading coach working with dancers of English National Ballet, Royal Ballet of Flanders, Boston Ballet, Rambert Dance Company and many others. He continues to tour solo Bharata Natyam work and specifically commissioned contemporary works.
