Kurumi Sueyoshi

Soloist (Guest)

The soprano Kurumi Sueyoshi has been studying voice with Prof. Yamina Maamar at the Hochschule für Musik "Carl Maria von Weber Dresden since 2020. From 2018-2020 she studied privately with KS Prof. Julie Kaufman.
A year abroad took her to the USA, where she studied with Dr. Elizabeth Knight at the "Hugh Hodgson" School of Music at the University of Giorgia and sang the title role in Puccini's "Suor Angelica".
She can currently be heard as the "2nd Boy" at the Dresden State Operetta in Mozart's "Magic Flute". At the Semperoper Dresden she is currently participating in the following productions: Eunuch in "The Nose" by D. Shostakovich 1.Jente in "Peer Gynt" by E. Grieg and Choral soprano in "Aida" by G. Verdi
Recently she qualified for the final rounds of the "Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition 2022" and will sing in Latvia in June.
Through master classes with Prof. Christiane Iven, KS Prof.Julie Kaufmann, Prof.Ulrike Sonntag, Prof.Brigitte Wohlfahrth, Prof. Claudia Visca, and Prof.Sharon Rostorf Zamir, she could gain further valuable experience.
