Born in Jerusalem, Gai Behar had a far-reaching influence on Tel Aviv's live music, art and nightlife from 1999 to 2005. He initiated and produced the electro series Salad, where he especially introduced VJs and video artists and presented international DJs. He also established several sought-after party lines including Syntechtich, Dark Disco, Night Rox in clubs such as Maxim, Shoken 17, TLV and Deep. Between 1999 and 2005, he curated and produced under the title Man Without a Shirt. Together with Ori Lichtik, Behar performed Anna Frank 14 - a techno-acoustic line-up based mainly on minimalist rhythms and melodies. In October 2012, the duo Eyal & Behar premiered Untitled Black in collaboration with the Dance Company of the Royal Swedish Opera House Gothenburg. Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar created the ethereal piece Sara for NDT 2 in May 2013. In the same year, they founded their dance company L-E-V. In 2015, they created Bedroom Folks for NDT 1 and FEELINGS and Salt Womb (2016).
