In 2005, Emilio Valenzuela Alcaraz graduated from the Real Eescuela Superior de Arte Dramático, after specialising in scenography. He is a member of the Asociación de Autores de Iluminación and, together with Joan Rodón, has been a member of dLux.pro since 2011. This combines the complementary skills of two visual artists with extensive experience in over 60 set designs for theatre, dance and events as well as 80 video designs for live performances.
Emilio Valenzuela Alcaraz's visual work enriches the shows and reinforces their dramaturgy on a visual level.
Some of the directors he has worked for include Miguel del Arco, Laila Ripoll, Ana Zamora, Joan Luis Bozzo, Antonio Banderas, José Martret, Adolfo Fernández, Helena Pimenta, Salvador Bolta, Juan Carlos Rubio, Juan C. Pérez de la Fuente and Andrés Lima.
Since 2015, Emilio Valenzuela Alcaraz has been teaching at centres such as the Escuela Universitaria de Artes TAI in Madrid, Diivant Artes Escénicas and the Trade Formación vocational school.
