Mezzo-soprano Anna-Maria Tietze has been studying voice as a concert subject with Prof. Christiane Junghanns and Prof. Yamina Maamar at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music Dresden since September 2015. She has won prizes at numerous regional and national competitions. In 2020, she was awarded the "eco" music promotion prize as a member of Ensemble 144. Through singing courses with KS Prof. Peter Schreier, Tobias Berndt, Helmut Deutsch, as well as KS Brigitte Fassbaender, she was able to gain further valuable experience in the interpretation of Lieder.
As an oratorio and ensemble singer, Anna-Maria Tietze works, for example, with the Dresdner Kammerchor under Hans-Christoph Rademann, the young a cappella ensemble sonat vox. under Justus Merkel, as well as the Sächsische Solistenvereinigung under Fabian Enders and the ensemble AuditivVokal under Olaf Katzer, which deals primarily with contemporary music. Concert tours have taken her to Poland, the Czech Republic, England, America and Japan.
In 2020, she performed the role of Diana in Antonio Lotti's Giove in Argo in Görlitz and Dresden. She currently appears as a guest in productions such as Aida under Christian Thielemann, Madama Butterfly and Peer Gynt in the State Opera Chorus of the Semperoper Dresden.
