Ukrainian soprano Anastasiia Povazhna graduated from the Kamenskoye Conservatory of Music and received her bachelor's degree from the Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music of Ukraine. She is currently continuing her studies for a Master's degree. She has been a soloist at the Ukrainian National Opera in Kiev since 2021. There she sang the roles of Micaëla (»Carmen«), Marguerite (»Faust«), Mimì (»La bohème«) and La Contessa d'Almaviva (»Le nozze di Figaro / The Marriage of Figaro«), among others. At the Semperoper Dresden, Anastasiia Povazhna can be heard as Solveig (»Peer Gynt«) and Frasquita (»Carmen«). She successfully participated in numerous competitions. Particularly noteworthy is, among other things, the selection for participation in the finals of the New Voices Singing Competition 2022 in Gütersloh.
