The Choir of Machines is where Konstantin Schmidt, his father Alexander Ernst, a violinist with the Dresden Staatskapelle, and grandfather Bernhard Schmidt, former principal timpanist with the Dresden Staatskapelle, pursue their second passion together: electronic music.
This event builds a bridge between the great role models of the 1970s and today's styles. The music will be played using classic analogue synthesizers and modular systems. A particular rarity that evening will be a theremin, one of the first electronic musical instruments and a forerunner of electronic music.
