For the 25th time, the international »Dance Salad Festival« in Houston, Texas, invited dancers from world-renowned ballet companies to present works by a wide variety of dance styles and choreographers.
Accompanied by production and tour manager Frank Seifert, our Second Soloists Zarina Stahnke and Alejandro Martínez traveled to Houston during the Easter holidays to dance the pas de deux »Autumn 1« from »The Four Seasons« by Associate Choreographer David Dawson, which was already performed as part of the mixed bill »A Midsummer Night’s Dream« at the Semperoper. On site, there was a reunion with our renowned ballet master Olga Kostritzky, who was invited by the Festival to lead the daily class for all guests, sharing her extensive knowledge.
