Jacqueline Lopez
Ballet Master

Jacqueline Lopez originates from Canada where she received her dance training at the Flora Pigeau Dance Academy, Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, the Ballet British Columbia Mentor Program and completed her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations. Upon finishing her dance training Jacqueline continued on to work as a guest dancer with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens and Ballet British Columbia as well as working as a freelance dancer with Move: The Company and Kinesis Dance Somatheatro. During this time Jacqueline started teaching ballet and contemporary dance in dance academies in Canada as well as choreographing short works performed in Montreal and Vancouver. In 2013 Jacqueline joined Les Grands Ballets Canadiens and was promoted to Demi Soloist in 2015. With les Grands Balllets Canadiens she performed in Canada and internationally in works by Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Christian Spuck, Jean-Christophe Maillot, Stephan Thoss, Mats Ek, Didy Feldman, Stijn Cells, Ken Ossola, Shen Wei, and Fernand Nault. In 2017, Jacqueline joined the Landestheater Linz and in 2018 the Oper Graz where she finished her professional stage carrier in 2020. Jacqueline went on to complete her studies earning her Master of Arts in Tanz Pädagogik at the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität while continuing to explore choreographic opportunities, presenting her works in Vienna, Graz, St. Gallen and Zürich. Jacqueline has worked as a ballet mistress and rehearsal director for Theater St. Gallen, Tiroler Landestheater and as a guest at the Oper Graz. In August 2024, Jacqueline joined the Semperoper Ballett as a Ballet mistress and rehearsal director.
