The violinist Elsa Klockenbring has been studying concert performance with Prof. Natalia Prishepenko at the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music in Dresden since fall 2021. Previously, she completed her master's degree there. During that time, she was an academist with the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden. She is a laureate of the International Competition Leopold Bellan in Paris and was awarded the special prize of the Lower Austrian Radio at the International Festival Allegro Vivo in Horn. As a child, she was taught by Sylvie Brenner and Prof. Valery Gradow. She studied with Prof. Christian Ostertag and Prof. Winfried Rademacher in Trossingen, where she graduated with honors in 2018 with a bachelor's degree.
She is regularly invited to perform at renowned chamber music festivals, such as the Mozartfest in Würzburg, the Festival de Musique in Wissembourg and other festivals in France, Germany and Denmark.
She also plays regularly with young dynamic ensembles such as the Orchester im Treppenhaus in Hannover and the Kammerakademie in Potsdam. She gained numerous orchestral experiences, among others in the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, as well as with the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra, through a temporary contract in the season 2021/22.
