Welcome to the 2026/27 season

Dear group clients and business partners,

our Group Service team is back, refreshed after the summer break, and warmly welcomes you to the new 2026/27 season.

We are looking forward to a spectacular opening weekend featuring the two opera classics Carmen by Georges Bizet and Mozart’s The Magic Flute on 29 and 30 August 2026 as well as the Symphony Concert No. 1, conducted by Daniele Gatti.

Shortly after, on 13 September 2026, we would like to draw your attention to a rare opportunity for your guests: on Semperoper Open Day, from 11.00 am, you can explore some of the Semperoper’s usually hidden areas, where rehearsals, painting, sewing and archiving normally take place. Admission is free, but access is limited for each event.

In the evening, the Saxon State Opera Chorus and the Staatskapelle Dresden will take you on a musical journey through the new season at our  Auftakt! event, featuring many favourite moments from the repertoire and a preview of the upcoming premieres. The Semperoper Ballet will also provide some dance highlights. A few tickets are still available in the upper circle for 16 euros.

We are delighted that so many of you have already secured tickets for our varied programme right from the start of sales, and that we have many very well booked performances, if not completely sold out. Nevertheless, we can still warmly recommend a few performances with remaining tickets until the turn of the year. You can find out more about these in our tips below.

NEW: Group Service Image Pool

We would also like to draw your attention to our new Group Service Image Pool. To help you promote your trip, from this season onwards we are making interior and exterior views of the Semperoper Dresden, as well as selected images from the repertoire, available for download via a secure portal. The image pool is updated regularly. All you need to do is register and accept the terms of use. Once we have activated your access, you can log in using a password of your choice. Should you have any questions or encounter any problems, please feel free to contact us.
