The opera is back from its summer break and we at Group Service would like to welcome you to the 2024/25 season.
We also welcome our new management team: Nora Schmid as Artistic Director, Kinsun Chan as Director of the Semperoper Ballett and the Principal Conductor of the Staatskapelle Dresden Daniele Gatti. At the opening event Just imagine – a musical tour through the 2024/25 season on September 14 at 5 p.m., Nora Schmid and Kinsun Chan will talk about their artistic plans and what you as an audience can expect from “the newcomers”.

You can look forward to the first opera premiere, Arrigo Boito's Mefistofele on September 28 with our new ensemble member Marjukka Tepponen.
In October, you can look forward to a piece of Dresden's musical history with Ludwig van Beethoven's great liberation opera Fidelio, in which the up-and-coming soprano Eleanor Lyons will appear alongside David Butt Philip and Georg Zeppenfeld as Leonore.
November and December hold two operas by Richard Strauss in store for you, Salome and Intermezzo, both of which were premiered at the Semperoper.
