»Intimate Distance« a duet created by our Principal Dancer Jiří Bubeniček , was performed on 10th of November 2010 as part of a ballet gala called »Malakhov & Friends«. First Soloists Beatrice Knop and Dmitry Semionov, who is also a Resident Guest Principal with the Semperoper Ballett, danced the duet choreographed by Jiri and musically arranged by his brother Otto Bubeniček. The gala took place at Deutsche Oper Berlin, featuring Vladimir Malakhov, international guest artists and Soloists of the State Ballet Berlin.
Jiří travelled on to Italy on the 20th of November where he danced in the »Roberto Bolle Gala for UNICEF« at the Auditorium Conciliazione in Rome. He presented his piece »Canon in D Major« together with Roberto Bolle and his brother Otto Bubeniček. He also danced »Les Indomptes« together with Otto, a choreography by Claude Brumachon.
The following night, Jiří danced the same programme at a gala in Pisa, Italy, with Alexandre Riabko, Principal Dancer from Hamburg Ballet instead of Roberto Bolle.
