Semperoper Education: »Partner Schools of the Semperoper Dresden«

From this season, Semperoper Education has seven partner schools in Dresden.

In a three-year programme, schoolchildren have the opportunity to get to know and experience all the tasks involved in running Saxon State Opera, from ticket sales and our scenery or costume workshops to the actual performances. In numerous projects and workshops, they engage actively in various aspects of our productions, both on stage and behind the scenes. The seven partner schools are primary and secondary schools from all over the city.

Support this Partner Schools project of the Semperoper Dresden with your donation! This can contribute, for example, towards tram or bus tickets for the pupils to visit an opera performance or help to cover the costs of projects and workshops. Your donations will also help us extend the Partner Schools project to other schools outside Dresden.

Donation receipt
You will automatically receive a donation receipt by email after completing the ordering process. For donations of 200 euros or more, you will automatically be sent a confirmation by post. Donation Project: »The Mobile Classroom«
In our previous donation project “The Mobile Classroom”, we collected funds to help Semperoper Education develop and implement an additional short production suitable for performing in classrooms. Since November 2017, a total of 614 people have donated to “The Mobile Classroom”. With your donation, you have made a useful contribution to our work by allowing us to improve and expand the mobile projects of Semperoper Education and thus bring the adventure of opera closer to schoolchildren in the Dresden area. This has enabled many children to enjoy opera singing and music for the very first time. For this we are truly grateful!
