Song recital with Michael Volle and Helmut Deutsch

Dresden, 26 January 2022. Michael Volle and Helmut Deutsch are returning to Dresden with Brahms’s song cycle »Die schöne Magelone«. On 6 February 2022, they will perform the fifteen romances created by the composer to texts by the poet Ludwig Tieck. Interpreted by one of the world’s leading baritones and by the internationally acclaimed pianist and accompanist, the song cycle will here be embedded in the poetic framework of Tieck’s original romantic story, recited for the audience by actor Hartmut Volle.
