Kinsun Chan will become Artistic Director of the Semperoper Ballett at the start of the 2024/25 season. He succeeds Aaron S. Watkin, who will move to the English National Ballet at the beginning of the coming season.

The Semperoper is delighted that another extraordinary artist, Marton Perlaki, has agreed for his motifs to be used in the 2023/24 season.

For a short period of time, the narrative ballet by Swedish choreographer Johan Inger will be back on the Semperoper programme.
