Although the Staatskapelle may be 460 years old this season, the ensemble has certainly not lost any of its youth and vigour. For example, just take a look at this season’s special offers for children and teenagers, which will once again attract a young audience to the «Live Sound» of the Kapelle. In addition to the symphony concert general rehearsals that are still open exclusively to schoolchildren, the successful series «Kapelle for Kids» will continue on the small studio stage «semper kleine szene», with two further events on the large Semper Opera stage, where a very special birthday party will be thrown on September 22nd.
