Musical Innovator
Thomas Quasthoff writes in his autobiography «The Voice» that «Jazz artists ... have influenced my performing style no less than the leading interpreters of classical music». Thus it was really only a question of time until the multi-Grammy award winner came to release a jazz album. Following the massive success of «The Jazz Album», recorded together with trumpeter Till Brönner, the baritone’s second jazz CD is about to hit the shops. Quasthoff is now coming to the Semper Opera House to give fans their very first taste of music from the new album before embarking on a tour.
