The individual’s unique freedom remains in his feelings, which he has no control over. »Je est un autre«, said the poet: «I» is another, the ultimate unexplored territory. Despite this, the individual only accomplishes himself in a multitude where he looses himself, victim of what he really is: his emotions. This new creation for the Semperoper Ballett intends to investigate individuality’s role within a group, its submission to the complexity of corresponding movements, language, energy and surroundings, while developing throughout this, and making its own external rules to express human intimacy.
