»Petite Mort« (or »Little Death«) is a reference to the French slang expression meaning an orgasm. Aggression, sexuality, energy, silence and vulnerability all find expression in the choreography of this work. Indispensable stage props are six sabres that take on the role of dance partners in the most varied of configurations and occasionally seem more impetuous and wilful than a partner of flesh and blood.
