In this choreographic work, William Forsythe explores the very nature of movement. He uses traditional ballet figures but distorts these by means of acceleration, mirroring and dissection into their component parts. Or, as dance critic Eva-Elisabeth Fischer sums it up: »Drive, sex and virtuosity«.
