When Petruchio tries to tame Katharina, this leads to a right royal battle of the sexes. The course of love between Bianca and Lucentio, on the other hand, runs much more smoothly. But who is to say whether this harmonious relationship will stand the test of time any better? And what about the reluctant marriage of Gremio and Hortensio to the two ladies of ill repute? It seems that the two lads have fallen victim to their own »cunning«. One thing is sure: Shakespeare's play serves as the basis for one of the most turbulent of all action ballets.
